How much will counselling cost?

At The Bridge we believe counselling should be available to everyone. We do not charge for counselling, but we do encourage clients to contribute what they can afford. At the first session, the assessor will discuss with you what you think you can afford to contribute. If you are a tax payer, you will be invited to gift aid your donations.

Support us - and become a Friend of The Bridge (below)

We appreciate our supporters who enable us to help those who come to us for support.

You could support us by giving your time or financial resources:
  • as a volunteer receptionist
  • as an enthusiastic advocate
  • as a prayer partner
  • as a financial supporter (e.g. £10 each month could heat one counselling room or pay about one-sixth of our telephone bill)
If you feel this is you, please get in touch with us:
  • email: admin@b-c-w.org.uk
  • telephone: 01905 731850

Becoming a Friend

A Friend of The Bridge is invited to make a contribution to help to secure the future for our clients, as well as contribute in other ways described above.

You can download an Enrolment Form to become a Friend of The Bridge here (new page), or discuss being a Friend with us at admin@b-c-w.org.uk or 01905731850.

We suggest a minimum donation of £5 per month, or whatever you can afford as a regular contribution. Or you may wish to make a one-off donation. Details about how to give are shown in the next section.

Giving

Occasional or regular contributors can send cheques to the Treasurer at The Bridge address, or preferably send electronic bank transfers - details are below.

If you are a taxpayer you can download and complete a Gift Aid Form here (new page) - this will cover occasional or regular contributions.

For one-off gifts by bank transfer or to set up a Standing Order, The Bridge bank account details are as follows:
